Open closed door without key
Over the phone said that the price would range between 85-100 depending on difficulty and when arrived, was unable to open the door while clumsily banging and shaking different tools. At the end said that it was going to be double the price for a new lock, which was never mentioned beforehand, or otherwise £85 for wasting my time. New Lock
Good communication. Prompt service. Clear information with cost breakdown for different options. Professional and polite. Fitted new front door lock on first visit during our move into a new flat. Emergency Lock Opening and replacement
The locksmith replaced the lock while I was not home. Unfortunately, several issues arose. They forgot to replace the lock cover, leaving it exposed, and did not clean up, leaving wood chippings and nails scattered on the floor. They also damaged the door frame, preventing proper fixing of the strike plate. The locksmith claimed the damage was from the original installation, but given the amount of wood chippings left behind, their lack of attention to detail, and the lack of care in cleaning up, I believe the damage was done by them.Verified reviewerJob location: CR09 Lock Fitting

Fitting a smart lock on my front door
The work carried out was good. However I was under the impression that i was dealing with an independent sole trader. This is an agency which subcontracts to other locksmiths and this is not made clear on Check a Trade.
