When looking for the right builder it was clear James was knowledgeable and this was his trade which he knew well. James spotted bits that others had missed and asked questions that had not been asked. We knew that picking the Loft Company was the right thing to do. Work started promptly and we have received friendly communications from James and Katie. Whenever we messaged/emailed we always received a prompt reply. Tom and Jay the chaps that carried out the work were friendly and knowledgeable. They were trustworthy, worked hard, tidy and on time. Amazing job carried out. Highly recommended!

From start to finish James was helpful, knowledgeable and reliable. The team on site were always friendly, approachable and kept us informed throughout the process. We used TLC for the whole project, from planning through to completion and found the process to be relatively stress free, however the architect used was not always the easiest to get hold of. This was the only real niggle we had. The workmanship, knowledge and reliability of TLC was second to none, the work was completed to a high standard with no significant snagging. We would not hesitate to use TLC in the future.

I chose TLC to do my garage conversion (into office and utility room), and then my loft conversion (into two bedrooms and bathroom) and was really impressed with the quality of work, the friendliness and respect shown by the team, and their overall reliability. There were no “hidden” costs or add ons - the agreed quote was stuck to and I was consulted at every stage to ensure I got exactly what I wanted. I was a woman living on my own (with young children) at the time of these works and I felt comfortable with all the guys from TLC, which is very important to me. I would recommend to anyone.

This project was stress free made easier by the great communication. They always left my home clean and tidy even when I told them not to worry. Any questions or concerns we had were easily dealt with and decisions made jointly. Would recommend!

James and the team were honestly exceptional. This is our third loft extension and our experience with The Loft Co was easily the best. Every request we made was answered with a cheerful "yes!" - nothing was too much trouble. (And extra work was clearly priced and agreed up front at very reasonable cost.) Timing, quality of work, disruption, noise, cleanliness, EVERYTHING was as good or better than I hoped. I am at a loss as to anything I could have asked them to do better. Note that The Loft Co includes architectural costs, and building regs in their pricing - it really is ALL IN!

James was great throughout the entire process from initial quote to final sign off. Excellent communication, fair and reasonable, keeps to his word and generally just a pleasant person to deal with. Jay and Tom were punctual, polite, kept us informed and completed the work swiftly and efficiently with no delays. We're really happy with the end result and glad that we chose James and his team for these works.
