Loft boarding
I will summarise. Quoted for loft leg XL 300mm -actually fitted loft leg 175mm. The wrong ones! Without my consent. I was quoted 12 boxes of loft legs were needed to complete the job- used 5 Fitted the boards parallel to the joists not at 90 degrees to the joist. The gap between the loft legs fitted is 800-850mm apart, manufacturer guidelines state no more than 600mm. Insulation under boards compressed down, compromising the insulation.
