Recommend Portland Windows for their prompt and impeccable work.
Great job by Tony of Portland Windows to replace a UPVC front door. He arrived promptly with pictures of previous work done and measured the gap. He gave me a rough idea of the cost and the time scale to fit the door. I decided on the design I wanted and received the quote in quick time which was on par with what he told me on his visit. I accepted the quote and the door was ordered and fitted. Very happy with the result. Clean worker very polite and arrived on time. Would highly recommend. Had our windows and front door renewed, and we are extremely pleased with the results. The service was excellent from start to finish—absolutely professional throughout. All windows replaced to the front and side of the house

Window and shutter installation...
We used The Portland Window Company to fit windows and shutters and to carry out some repairs. The standard of work was excellent. Tony and Jeff were hard working and courteous throughout the installation and my property was left clean and tidy at the end of each day. I have taken a different approach to glazing after working for many different companies for the last 20 years and seeing how they treated their customers. Inviting somebody into your house can be daunting. I wanted to create an environment where the customer feels at ease with me being in their home without any outdated pressure sales techniques I am a certified surveyor and installer meaning that the work will be carried out by myself and not subcontracted to an installer you have never met. This gives you confidence regarding the workmanship and also that there will be no hidden costs added along the way. My advertising source is customer recommendations. I take pride in my work and get a sense of achievement out of the positive responses from my customers. I will not leave a job until the customer is completely happy with the outcome and feels happy with the way that I respected them and their property. I start a job and finish the project before I move onto the next one. I have no expensive overheads meaning each job is started and finished promptly. I am trusted by Certass and recommended by Checkatrade within the window industry. I use local suppliers and manufacturers and take a great deal of pride in my work Any specification or design can be fulfilled to meet the customers’ needs, whether this is a composite door or a bi-fold door or replacement glass.
