Established in 1999, the Thorns Young team have extensive experience in architectural design and building surveying. Our experience extends to all aspects of the profession, including Local Authority, Architectural Practices and Building Contractors whilst working closely with the client and their needs.


Our services include full construction drawings with structural calculations, all completed in house.

We specialise in residential and commercial work such as; Extensions, Loft Conversions, Outbuildings, New Builds, Structural Calculations, Garages & Garage Conversions, Change Of Use, Flat Conversions and more.


As the legislation grows increasingly complicated, experience and expertise in these fields are important to ensure a successful application process. Our knowledgeable and experienced team can provide full or partial architectural building design services for all projects.
