Avoid at all cost
Terrible experience . Dave gave us a report for work to be carried out for a EICR which quoted £1,200 for the work . We had to wait for a date to carry out the work then another mnth before he could start the job. He did not respond to any of our communications via phone email and txt. On the day he was due to do the work I had a phone call out of the blue at 11.00 in the morning stating he was on his way. He was in the proper for 4 hrs and left having only completed a tenth of the work leaving 2 copper pipes and gas box with no earth.

Kitchen electrical installation and other ad hoc work
We are reporting TBE to the NICEIC and Trading Standards as they: 1. Deviated from scope, extending an existing circuit, rather than installing a new one. 2. Acted without ‘reasonable skill and care’ and twice left us partially without power. Legally, under the Consumer Rights Act (2015), remediation of these issues should be at no extra cost, yet we are being charged. Due to the dispute of additional costs TBE have not issued an Electrical Installation Certificate.

To supply and fit a new pull cord switch for a bathroom light.
Brilliant they were able to do it very quickly and fitted into my schedule. Very professional yet friendly. Great service. Cost more than I thought it would but because it was urgent I did not mind.

To build two rings of wires to the kitchen at the back of property from the mains
I found this company from checkatrade based on its rating but the experience was terrible. I asked them to build two new rings of wires from mains to kitchen. The price was quoted and agreed. When the job was carried out, without any discussion or warning of additional works or prices, the final invoice was 39% up from quotation by adding just 3 double sockets which I thought they are included in the original quotation. I rejected but they insisted and engaged debt collection, I finally gave up and paid them all as they did not issue the compliance certificates before payment. It was nightmare
