Matt in Kettering was absolutely fantastic. Trustworthy, knowledgable, quick, clear and always helpful. He is also independent by not also providing the remediation servicws which means you know youre getting a properly indpendent survey. We were buying a victorian terrace with some potential damp issuws highlighted, but Matt went in and gave a thorough accurate report with advice on remedial work, which has put our minds to rest and gives us a good plan for the remedial works needed. Could not recommend more highly

I had some concerns regarding some internal damage which had come back as potential damp on a building survey pre house purchase. I asked Matt to complete a damp survey for me and he was able to fit me in. The survey was extremely thorough and the report and call afterwards helped me understand potential issues. I have since had some further work done to establish whether the cavity wall insulation was at fault. It would appear the areas Matt suggested were bang on and allowed me to get a slight reduction and work to rectify. All in all a very positive experience.

Would highly recommend Matthew Herbert if you are having any damp issues. He arrived on time, was friendly and helpful and made recommendations to resolve our damp issues. He surveyed room inside and out and followed up with full report. I would certainly recommend him as your first port of call if having any damp issues.
