Chris Townsend( and Lewis) did a superb job on an urgent roof repair on Listed Building, Chris promptly fully assessed the work required, explained everything and showed photographic evidence to me before , during and after, to document it. He priced the job honestly, fairly and realistically..His communication skills are excellent and I was kept fully informed. The work was completed efficiently and inside the timeframe. I would have no hesitation in recommending TOWNSEND roofing. for his expertise, efficiency, professionalism and integrity. He is entirely trustworthy.

Chris responded quickly to give us a quote, started promptly and worked fast. We had the ridge tiles replaced, as suggested, and he also repaired some stone coping, including sourcing the replacement ham stone we needed. Both fixes seem to have stopped the leaks/damp. We found him easy to deal with and he let us know what was going on as the job progressed. We would recommend Townsend Roofing for any roof repair and plan to go back in the future.

Chris was great. - Came and gave a detailed quote and explained anything that might also need doing once the roof was exposed. - Was happy to advise us what was essential and what could be repaired rather than replaced. Reused what He could to keep the costs down. - Always turned up when he said he would. - Worked was carried out quickly and professionally. - Happy to do extra work like mesh guards for chimneys, clean repair replace guttering, Clean under eaves ect. - Cleaned up well after every visit. - Recommended a good scaffolder at a very reasonable price.
