Mel and his apprentice recently came out to diagnose a fault and fix my kitchen sockets. He got me back up and running quickly and took the time to explain everything. He even answered the phone on a weekend, which is a rarity! Mel was professional and knowledgeable. Very satisfied with the work carried out. Mel and his apprentice attended the job. Telephone contact prior to home visit was good. Both were professional and pleasant. We did not feel patronised in anyway. Problem was diagnosed and attended to. Mel informed us about the work he was going to carry out in a clear and concise manner. Mel installed a new updated consumer unit. The more sensitive equipment revealed a fault in the original wiring (not done by Mel). He didn’t give up till he had tracked down and repaired the faults. Over the past few weeks Mel has attended my house to complete installation of new wiring for a new kitchen island, move of plug sockets and switches to accommodate new kitchen, install new down lighters and fit exterior lights to garage. I’ve used Mel for numerous jobs over the past few years and always find him to be professional, efficient with his workmanship and craft to be of a high standard. Mel has done a couple of projects for me now which include new outside lighting & power sockets , tidied wiring in kitchen ceiling , new sockets and lighting in kitchen & lounge. Fitted extractor fan in the bathroom. I found his work to be of a high standard with cleanliness. He carried out the work as I required and advised for any changes that were necessary.
