Service of gas fire
This fitter came recommended to service a £3k fire fitted 12 months ago. Immediately after the service the fire had issues and it was subsequently examined by an independent gas fitter. It was found to have over £300 damage to the burner assembly and deemed unsafe. Despite the independent engineer report TP Gas Services provided no explanation other than to accuse the owner of causing the damage himself. When questioned on the phone Tom did not engage, refused to supply his business address and was V arrogant in response. Beware.

Combi Boiler not working on New Years day
We woke up to no heating or hot water on New Years Day 2021, it was absolutely freezing outside. We made an enquiry on Checkatrade and within a few minutes received a response. They came out within the hour, assessed the problem. They resolved the problem within the hour and showed great integrity, honesty and helpfulness throughout. Both the engineer and his apprentice were polite, courteous and knowledgeable and we will definitely contact them again in the future. They charged a very reasonable rate for the work and their time, which we were happy to pay. Would definitely recommend.

New fan fitted in boiler
Our boiler went on Friday, and I got in touch with Tom through here and he came out same day to check my boiler. He was really fast she knew exactly what needed to be done. He ordered the parts and returned Tuesday and fitted it within an hour. Fast and reliable service. Extremely friendly too.

Boiler repair and new radiator fitted
Tom was polite, informative and kept me up to date through the process... once he fitted all the parts, all well priced, he checked in on us afterwards to make sure all was well. Anyone in Preston debating who to use... I’ve tried the “big” companies and I regretted it. Tom’s services have been much appreciated at this cold time of year and I couldn’t be more relieved my boiler is sorted.

Fix faulty boiler
Thomas was very friendly and polite. They got to the source of the issue very quickly and resolved it without any fuss. He also gave a clear explanation as to the cause of the problem. Once he had finished the repair it was as if they had not been, everything was very tidy. The cost was very reasonable. We would highly recommend Thomas
