  Initially a leaking front double doors issue and then a window sill replacementt job

  For the first job he was apparently travelling for 6 weeks - took 3 months to reply. Second job - no response even after after chasing message

  Fitting reclaimed interior doors

  I rescued some old victorian doors from a skip and Evan fitted them for me. It was a really fiddly job, as the doors had already been trimmed and none of them fitted properly. He was brilliant, and did a fantastic job, reusing the old fittings and repairing one of the doors. He was friendly, lovely to have around the house and left everything clean and tidy. Highly recommended.

  Great Work: Front door and floors

  Evan was great! With 20 years experience he did the job to a very high standard and right on schedule. He advised on the most logical, cost effective approaches for the work and the best materials for the job. He's a very tidy worker, he would take thoughtful measures to minimise dust and cleaned up before leaving every day. Evan was honest, and accurate with his time estimates and his price was the best of the three quotes. We couldn't be happier with the work and highly recommend him.

  Alcove shelves and TV unit doors

  I probably went through speaking to five or six carpenters before I found Evan a few years ago and I don’t think I’ll ever use anyone else now. He is the tidiest tradesman you’ll ever find - the place is often cleaner than it was when he started. He seems to lap up the challenge of dealing with an old house with wonky walls. On top of this the workmanship is bang on - Evan uses quality hinges and catches which make a huge difference. Previously he’s done built in wardrobes and cupboards, but this job was up to the usual high standards. Can’t fault him, and he’s a lovely bloke as well.
