  Garage Conversion

  From the beginning of the process James was more than happy to visit us multiple times to discuss plans and provide a no obligation quote. James was consultative throughout the job, providing recommendations and listening to our ideas, coming to a mutual decision on the project which resulted in a great job at completion. James was very responsive across email, messages and phone calls which is as important as the finished job.

  Bedroom refurbished in a very old house, cooker surround built

  The work done to the bedroom was completed brilliantly. A bedroom had to be refurbished and a wall replaced with intricate beams in the wall and ceilings, a new door and architrave remade in a 400 plus year old house. The skill with which this was done was so impressive and the attention to detail excellent. We also had a new cooker surround made by hand and fitted in place of a very bad job done by a kitchen company. The area was very difficult to work with as it’s an old chimney breast but it was done again to perfection and looks stunning. Everything is done to perfectionist levels.

  Extensive decking

  Engaged UBS to replace and substantially extend a wooden decking to the full length of our house. James visited and provided a competitive quote. They started the job on the agreed day, completed it in the timescale given and adhered to the quote despite using some of their own materials. Great job, looks better than we were expecting and would use him for other projects in the future.

  Ground floor extension and kitchen

  Removal of internal wall and fitting of a new kitchen.

  I cannot fault the workmanship and quality of the works carried out. Friendly and approachable, James has a great eye for detail and also gave sound advice throughout the project from start to finish. I would not hesitate to recommend this firm and would definitely use them again.

  Single story extension, which included bi fold doors, a large knock through to the main house and kitchen fitting.

  James and his team turn up on time and work really hard. The work is finished to a very high standard and although we had a few unforeseen hiccups along the way, they were dealt with quickly and we were kept informed at all times.
