UKCC Auto Techs (formally UK Carbon Cleaning) are a UK wide mobile service provider for vehicle engine carbon & DPF cleaning, power & performance and/or remapping, and Autowatch Ghost installation services.

Engine Carbon Cleaning:

Today's combustion engine’s that accumulate carbon deposits, primarily due to engines designed to cope with ever important anti-pollution regulations requirements, imposed speed limits, fuel quality and driving at low speeds to save on fuel. This is a slow process so often will go unnoticed until eventually, symptoms will manifest in the form of saturated components such as intake valves, DPF filters, EGR valves, and Turbos.

Ideally, a client will use our service the same way as they do an oil change service - regular and often - after all as they always say... 'An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure'.

Our carbon cleaning system is non-intrusive, safe and fast. In just 30-60 minutes our mobile team resolves the symptoms of carbon build-up related issues.

DPF cleaning:

All diesel vehicles produced in the last decade (some early produced as well) have a DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) which is designed as part of the emissions restriction system to collect the soot and ash as it exhales through the exhaust system. When the filter gets to a certain level of clogging a regeneration process is requested to clean the filter. The vehicle must then be driven at a minimum speed of usually 50mph for 20 minutes so that this process can occur. During the process, the DPF is heated up to 600-650c to burn off the soot content. This requires many aspects of the engine to function in an abnormal manner, therefore, the onboard computer checks all relevant components can handle the additional load. If any component is not operating to the required standard or there are other failings the DPF regeneration process will not complete which leads to failure of the system. The first task of any DPF cleaning process is a thorough diagnostic including testing related sensors to understand the root cause of the failure. It is critical these failures are then resolved otherwise even if the DPF is cleaned the problem will promptly return. We specialise in not just the cleaning of DPF's but most importantly the diagnosis of the original failing so that once cleaned the DPF you can be sure there will be no recurrence of the issue in the foreseeable future.

We now offer a wide range of both performance enhancing and fuel economy remaps for most vehicles.
