This car had a clogged DPF that the clients local Ford dealership insisted the filter required replacing a 4-figure cost. We diagnosed the route cause to be a pressure sensor reading incorrectly which meant had the client followed the dealerships advice not only was a new dpf not required but that would have also soon clogged as well. We performed an engine carbon clean, fitted a new sensor then performed a dpf clean to fully resolve the matter and all at a fraction of the price the dealership quoted.
