  My wife and myself employed chris after coming round and giving a quote bit dearer than a few people but his attention to detail inpressed us both and also coming out at the weekend where others did not .Was always on time kept as imformed on what he was doing and even gave us some suggestions to help our patio look great .It was really good to see someone enjoy there work and take great pride in the finish on rush and get it wrong .From start to finish chris kept everything tidy when he finiished at the end of the day and when the job was completed he even washed our vehicles down

• Gorgeous New Drive!

  I cannot fault Chris at Ultra Drives. Our new drive is perfect! At the start of the job, he gave us choices of finish and chippings and accurately priced them, too. He was a pleasure to have on the property for the two weeks he was with us. He also communicated openly about his job timings and was friendly to our neighbours. The drive is perfect, and his workmanship is excellent. I would recommend him without hesitation!

• Paving - front garden

  Chris did a great job transforming our unkempt garden to a beautifully paved patio area (retaining our palm tree) at the front of our house. Good communication from start to finish both with us and our neighbours. Regular catch-ups to check we were happy with the work and to discuss options and choices where decisions were needed. Always made us feel like nothing was too much trouble. Very high standard of craftmanship and very hardworking despite some challenging weather conditions. Would highly recommend Chris and would use his services again when we tackle future projects.

  I had two quotes for this job, and although Chris was 10% more than the other, his approach and the time he spent describing how he saw the project gave me confidence to accept his quote. His work and attention to detail, especially laying the patio and the additional drainage work, confirmed that I had made the correct decision in accepting his quote. Tidyness only scored nine because of the dust from cutting the stone, something pretty much impossible to completely clean as it settles everywhere. However, the first rain will clean it up. Very pleased.

  What can I say but thank you for an exceptional job. Chris is hard working and his attention to detail is second to none. The site was left extremely tidy. The path looks brilliant and we have received a couple of comments from people walking, saying it looks really smart. Thanks Chris. I would certainly recommend.
