  Full decoration of lounge

  Excellent workmanship, very polite, prompt, kind and helpful, trustworthy. I would totally recommend Vanessa Barrett. In fact I am having her back in the Autumn to carry out more work on my house.

  Decorating

  Working with Vanessa has been a joy. We have just moved into a new build and everywhere was white. We wanted to bring some colour into all the rooms. Vanessa talked to us about our ideas, which were frankly a bit vague. She is really creative, has a great eye for colour and was very patient as we worked through what we wanted. The finished job is brilliant. We are really pleased. Vanessa also repaired and repainted damage from some other work we had done on the house. I am very happy to recommend her.

  Main bedroom completely repainted, including outside and inside of fitted wardrobe and airing cupboard. A number of windowsills elsewhere in the house.

  Vanessa was a pleasure to deal with from the word go. She responded promptly to our initial enquiry and gave a provisional quote then and there over the phone. She arrived on time to give a detailed fixed price quote. She arrived each day on time, was well organised and always very considerate (e.G. Careful to remove her shoes and also very quiet - a very pleasant person to have in the house.) She gave excellent advice on colours and finishes - she has a lot of experience in property renovation. The finished job was just what we wanted. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend her highly.

  Painting and decoration instruction for a one bedroom flat

  We instructed Vanessa for many redecoration jobs within our large property portfolio. Her work is flawlessly neat and thorough, from ceiling/walls/woodwork preparation to final result. Vanessa has an excellent eye for colour scheming and is very property-savvy so can offer helpful (free) advice whilst on a job regarding kitchen/bathroom fit-outs or other home improvements should that be required. Extremely pleasant to have around, punctual and reliable, and a great team player when working with other trades. Very helpful contractor whom I cannot recommend highly enough.

  Extensive painting

  We hired Vanessa to redecorate several of our holiday cottages. Vanessa was so helpful in offering to source and collect the paint and materials for us before arriving on site. She cleaned down and prepped all surfaces and often worked later then 5pm to ensure the project was finished on time. I cannot recommend her enough for her high standards, use of quality materials and leaving the site immaculate.
