  Laying a new garden path in concrete

  Andy was a pleasure to work with. He was really knowledgable and helpful in the planning / advice stage so we felt like we were in safe hands when the work started. The path is awesome; it’s neat, robust and fits the vibe with our rather unusual ‘Brighton’ garden. Thanks so much Andy!

  Two new patios and circular lawn laid

  The patios were constructed to a very high standard and the Indian sandstone slabs are absolutely beautiful. Andy explained how to keep the slabs looking good. He was the only contractor who asked how I wanted the whole garden to look and asked sensible questions about how I was going to move round and use the garden. I was pleased to get both patios and lawn laid for what other people quoted just for one patio. I would definitely recommend vigorous landscapes

  Exceptional transformation of front garden

  Andy recently transformed our front garden into a beautiful area that far exceeded our expectations. From the initial consult to the final touches he demonstrated exceptional attention to detail ensuring every aspect of the project was perfect.   Re-landscaping garden

  Andy and Connor were a pleasure to have in my home. The attention to detail was extraordinary. They were hard working, cost and environmentally conscious, discussed and kept me up to date with all decisions/ideas, and gentle with my dogs.   Stunning patio created with care and craftsmanship

  Andy created a beautiful courtyard area with brilliant drainage. The cost came in as quoted and he kept us informed every step of the way He and his fellow worker were polite, respectful and incredibly hard working throughout , despite some really challenging weather and at times cramped working conditions. His attention to design detail was second to none. Needless to say we highly recommend this company.

  Landscaping front and rear gardens/ Victorian terrace

  Vigorous Landscapes (Andy and Connor) carried out a truly exceptional re-modelling of the front and rear gardens in our Victorian terrace. While the gardens aren't large, the rear space required extensive remodelling: for example removal of three tons of concrete/ rubble, broken drains etc. This was carried out efficiently and with minimal fuss. After the grunt work, VL expertly paved the entire area, fashioned two gorgeous curved timber walls and meticulously fenced (with batten) two side walls. With the hard edges completed, VL even took on the planting. Exceptional craft and care
