Large tree removal from grounds
We needed a large tree removed from our grounds that was blocking light into our house. The Viking Forest team were quick to arrive and very pleasant to deal with. I felt safe to leave them to their work and got on with other jobs. They left the area spotless and took away the wood that I didn't want. Viking Forestry have been the most honest and easiest to deal with in a long time and a gem to find.. Alec the owner is a very honest, helpful guy who helped me with some problems with network rail which resoled the matter.. The guys who work from him are very good at what they do always on time worked hard and a happy bunch of lads... Extensive tree removal and pollarding, from steep site with buildings of historical significance
The job specification was the removal and/or severe pollarding of 10-15 huge beech and sycamore trees, a removal of a further 20-30 mixed variety trees that had become unmanageable and general understory clearance. The site had buildings of historical significance that needed protecting, and the timber was to be removed from site and stacked nearby. This totally around 100 tonnes. Emergency tree work on a tree in the churchyard that had been blown down in a storm across a path.
