Cavity Wall Insulation10Verified Review
Great job by Viridian, Oscar and Ted installed Cavity Wall Insulation over two days, first day cleaning the cavity and drilling, second day filling and making good, Oscar explained the process and took me through what they were going to do and answered a couple of questions, both Oscar and Ted were very polite and very customer focused, I had this done at my last house and had a bad experience, but felt rest assured by Oscar from the start... value wise in my book pretty good, its worth paying the right price to get the best outcome.. and that the product is fit for purpose...Location: CT18

Check of current loft insulation10Verified Review
Had Guy from Viridian visit the house to check on the condition of loft insulation installed 20 years ago. After inspection he confirmed that there was no need to add extra insulation or replace. A very honest and professional appraisal.Location: TN14

Excellent from start to finish! The surveyor arrived on time and provided a quote on the day, no hard sell and only stayed for about an hour or so. Alex? In the office provided date options and was very polite and friendly. The team were superb! Explained what they were going to do before they started, answered my questions during the work and showed me inside the cavity with their equipment, that had a viewing screen. A great and much appreciated collective effort, based upon which I would definitely recommend Viridian.Location: BN16

Viridian is a home insulation specialist based in Ashford, Kent that focuses solely on insulation products and services. Our supervisors and senior installers are employed by us, which means we don't use external subcontractors, and are skilled to a high standard and approved by our system designers.
Our loft insulation products are soft, non-itch, with low levels of dust release, and are made of 80% recycled material, which means they do not contain any volatile chemicals. For cavity wall insulation, we use material that has excellent thermal performance. It is also water-repellent, rot-proof, and non-toxic in the event of a fire, which makes it durable and reliable in all weather conditions.
Viridian has access to UK government grant schemes providing free or part-funded insulation for private homes, housing associations and local authorities.
Memberships and approvals
Why use a PAS 2030:19 approved company? The PAS 2030:19 standard became mandated for all funded energy efficiency measures effective on 1st July 2021.
PAS (publicly available specification) is a British Standards Institute (BSI) standard which sets out the requirements for installing, commissioning and handover of Energy Efficiency Measures (EEM’s) in domestic retrofit projects. Its main objective is to assist installers in complying with its requirements for EEMs, providing installation specification for a measure specific Annex. Compliance with the PAS standard requires each installation to meet all of the requirements of PAS 2030.
All retrofit installers who want to install one or more specified EEMs under public funded schemes such as ECO need to be PAS 2030 certified to access these schemes. PAS is required for all funded works such as ECO, Local Authority Delivery Funding and the future Home Upgrades Grant. It is a fundamental requirement under the TrustMark Scheme Rules.
Insulation Assurance Authority (IAA)
The Insulation Assurance Authority supports members with certification and assessment of quality assurance at the centre of their objectives and policy. The IAA provides independent 25-year guarantees for cavity insulation products fitted by registered installers in the UK and Channel islands.
Cavity Wall Insulation Self Certification (CWISC)
The Cavity Wall Insulation Self Certification scheme provides our customers with the comfort and security of knowing that our work complies with the requirements of the building regulations.
We have been assessed and approved by the British Board of Agrément (BBA) for wall insulation. The BBA is the UK’s major authority offering approval and certification services to manufacturers and installers supplying the construction industry.
TrustMark is the government-approved quality scheme that accompanies our PAS 2030:2019 accreditation. This means you are choosing a company that has been thoroughly vetted to meet the standards set by TrustMark, including excellent customer service, technical competence and trading practices.
