  Quality work done right

  I'm so impressed with the work VSH Renovations did on my home. They painted my 3 bedroom home with real care an attention giving the woodwork a beautiful satin finish and spray painting the doors and banister to perfection. None of the other painters who quoted were actually spraying woodwork. Victor was friendly, professional, and made sure everything was spotless before they left. I'm genuinely happy with the Victor's team and their results and would definitely recommend them to friends and family or anyone who appreciates quality work done right. Thank you for everything!

  Gloss work

  Gloss work not the best quality as can be seen from photos of finished work. I ended up re-painting doors myself. Paint over carpets and walls ( which now need repainting as could see the touch up )

  Mr. Warren, your review is misleading. My team were on site for just two days. Gloss work in sunny outdoor conditions can look different once fully dry. You didn’t allow me to return the very next day to finish work, instead saying “I don’t have time”

  Bathroom restoration

  After a flood from above, our bathroom had a damaged wall and ceiling, and much of the paint was either water-stained or discoloured by salts and rust in the water. Victor came in and did a magnificent job of repairing the plaster and then redecorated by spray painting as well as fitting a wall hung storage cabinet for us at the end. Very efficient and proficient and a genuinely nice guy, too. Very happy with Victor and his work and would happily recommend him.

  Painting gable wall

  Quoted to do the job but didn't have the necessary equipment to so a professional paint job. The filling of the small cracks on the wall was poorly done. The day after the ONE coat of paint was applied it rained and the paint covering the repairs blistered. There were cables for SKY TV attached to the wall which Victor removed but after having finished the job, or should I say partially completed the job were not put back in place. All in all a complete shambles! Have contacted him numerous times asking when he is coming to rectify the bodged up work but only got pathetic excuses! AVOID!!

  VSH Renovations had the best quote on the market considering inflation and cost of living as we were on a budget. They didn't cut corners with materials and delivered good quality work. Fast and reliable team.

  Repointing brickwork

  I employed this company for some repointing to be done to some external and internal brickwork. This was to include raking out the old pointing. The job looked OK when originally finished, but now it has mostly crumbled and fallen out. I have had an expert come to look at it, and they say the old pointing wasn't ground back sufficiently and the incorrect mix was used to repoint. I have tried to contact the company via email and text following an unproductive phone call. I am now £400 out of pocket and extremely disappointed that I trusted this company to work on my house.

  The customer contacted me on 16/08/2023 at 22:00 (GMT+2) using derogatory and humiliating language, making personal inappropriate remarks and accusations, and making demands regarding an additional/separate job I completed for her about 11 months ago. Nicky didn't send/email any photos as proof of her accusations. The main job, as per her Checkatrade ad [posted in October 2022] was for a painter&decorator to refurbish a bedroom, a job that was booked with me and beautifully executed. At the time she also asked me whether I could fix her external/internal brick wall as it was affected by excess moisture. The customer did not reach out or express any concern for almost a year now. Had there been any technical/quality-related issues I'm certain these would have occurred at an earlier stage, and not "all of a sudden after 11 months". My public position is that the customers review is highly deceiving and inaccurate, solely targeting my online reputation, as well as unrelated to the job posted via Checkatrade.
