We used Micheal at Hummingbird for a while with his work and reaction very good. We had a substantial repair required on an access gate which he asked for payment up front of Around £680 for parts that he need to buy. From then on I have managed to contact Micheal on 1 ocassion where he said he would refund the money we paid in advance but despite numerous requests for a refund he kept our money and did not refund it. He then just disappeared.

Don't bother. We paid £685 up front for parts to repair an automatic gate. Despite numerous calls emails job not completed or money returned. Really disappointed. Vanished of the face of the earth!

From making initial contact with Hummingbird, I received a date for a site visit, followed up within a day or two the quote. The price was good value for money, especially as we had my husbands BMW stolen from the driveway not long before. They completed the work in a few hours and worked on a Sunday. They also cleaned up after themselves.

He Arrive on time, did the work and explain the problems.

Humming birds Security came out and tried to fix the problem, the engineer found the fault and explain it to me. I need a new electrical box and 2 new sensors. They gave me a price which took over a week to get and I agreed, he ask for some of the money, so he could buy the new box and sensors, so I bank transfer to is account. That was in December and I'm waiting for them to come and fix my gates. They don't answer their phone and I keep messages them. Eventally they contact me to book me in, which he never turn up. (Three times)

Had an ongoing issue with outside electric gates, recommended Humming Bird Systems after initial contact came round same day and within an hour gates were not only fixed but also went over and above to do a full overview.. very reasonable rates and amazing customer service and quality for money .. would highly recommend
