Highly Recommend
Peter replaced my old kitchen sink. The work was done meticulously and efficiently. He carefully measured and made sure the new sink was a perfect fit by cutting the worktop to fit it. He then plumbed in new taps and resealed the worktop join with the tiles. He then cleaned up and left no mess. He has a very pleasant approachable manner and explains what he is doing as he carries out the work. Shower head pinch grip replacement
Our shower head pinch grip broke which is integrated with the aqualisa control/riser. I messaged Peter on Monday to advise and asked if I bought the replacement, if he would come round to fit it. He said that he would be happy to help. Replacement arrived Wednesday, Peter notified and he came round on the Friday to fit it. Shower repair/ replacement.
Peter was very thorough and explained very well what the issue was and possible solutions. He researched the options and gave us good advice on these. Leak from shower causing water ingress into front room ceiling and wall area
Contacted Peter, as we have used him previously. He attended the following morning and undertook investigating the cause of the leak, of which he found. Then the following two days were to dry out the area, rework the grouting and reapplying the mastic and undertake ceiling rework. Welcome to my Water Wise Plumbing Services profile page. My name is Peter Hood and I am a friendly, reliable plumber with over 15 years’ experience.

- 24hr emergency service
- Bathroom/shower room/WC renovations - This can be anything from a fit only up to a full design and project management of the job. When project managing the whole renovation I have professional electricians, plasterers, tilers, carpenters and decorators to call upon as and when they are needed. I carry out all the bulk of the work including estimating, designing, ripping out, rebuilding, painting and all associated plumbing work (1st & 2nd fix)
- Partial bathroom renovations - E.g bath to shower swaps. Existing walls (tiled or otherwise) can be covered by new tiles or shower panels. Remainder of bathroom can be left as it was.
- Shower pump installations/replacements
- Mains stop cock replacements
- Taps repaired/replaced
- Tiling repairs
- Dripping shower repairs/replacements
- Showers installed including electric, mixer and digital
