• Repairing House Roof Damage. Tiles and Timber

  Due Bad Weather, rainwater leaked into the house, but by good fortunedidn't cause internal damage. We Chose Weathersmart Roofing due good and courteous pre assessment. However, as work progressed additional faults re both slates and timber were found, partly due to the age of the building. We agreed progressively to ensure all faults were repaired, but also bolster areas of woodwork to ensure lasting performance. Mutual provider and receiver inspections took place to mutual satisfaction.

  This started off as a rather small job but quickly escalated as problems became obvious. So from new flashing i got a new roof (which cost considerably more, but i don’t doubt it needed doing). In retrospect, I would have asked each of the traders giving quotes to give me a quote for the original job and also for half the roof to be replaced and the whole roof being replaced. The team were very good and very fast, within days of accepting the original quote the scaffolding was up… the whole thing (new roof) was completed and the scaffolding down within a week. Also very tidy.

• Install whole new roof due to leaks

  James was helpful from the first visit - he visited the same day I called, and quickly identified the issue causing our leak. After agreeing to the work, he booked in his team the very next day. He kept us informed of the work throughout, and took plenty of photos and videos of the roof, so we were aware of what was going on. They also left the area tidy after the work. Would recommend!

  I had thought that my problem was too small and complex to be of interest for any company to deal with and had been having a bit of trouble finding anyone to do it, but James gave me advice and listened to what I wanted. The guys that he sent to do the job were polite and professional and the issue was fixed at a reasonable price.
