10 UNBLOCKING MANHOLE

Called Wessex drainage to unblock a blocked manhole at my home after some rubble from building our extension had fallen down the pipe. Amanda was very helpful on the phone and one of there staff managed to turn up later that day to jet it clear. The work required had two parts: 1. Installation of an Arco drain to reduce surface run-off into a drain that had insufficient drainage capacity for heavy rain. 2. Unblocking the "slow" drain that was blocked with 20 years' worth of silt (required permit). The first part was completed to a high standard, Wessex Drainage did a good job with the exception of not clearing the excess cement from the block paving. The second part has not been started, despite regular contact and discussion. Wessex are now ignoring emails and phone calls with no explanation. It's been over 6 months. After being let down by a local plumber twice and having waited around two weeks to use our washing machine we contacted Wessex Drainage Solutions.
