  Full electrical rewiring of an occupied maisonette and EICR

  We had to have a full electrical rewiring in a shared occupied flat and the works were completed as expected, on time and with a great finish. The team is exceptional, they are nice and very considerate. We started off with a full survey of the flat and a detailed quotation with all items documented. Then the team started the job as agreed. Communication was great throughout, also whenever you had a question they guys patiently explained what they were doing and progressing. No faults or mess left behind; very clean team. Do not look further, highly recommended professional tradesmen.

  Survey and review of all electrics in apartment. Followed up with all the work recommended.

  Electrics check and oven installation

  Unfortunately I cannot recommend this electrician. Previously used for electrics check/certificate and repairs, which were completed with relative promptness at a fair price. Electrician agreed to install new oven and vary wiring and on this was not helpful. Said he'd attend "the next day" after delivery, without being able to commit to a confirm a specific day, despite chasing, meaning I was unable to coordinate delivery and wasted weeks in reliance on him without an oven. Ultimately sent a very unprofessional message refusing to do it at all (presumably due to the relatively low fee).

  Electrical Installation Condition Report - Safety Checks - EICR

  Installing a new consumer unit, EICR Safety Check and Report, and other bits

  It was great to find Billy, a local electrician. Excellent communication skills ahead of the work, always got back to us re: any questions/ concerns we had. While Billy and his colleague worked they were respectful of the (tiny) flat and polite - very easy to have around. It's a weight off our mind and reassuring to have had the electrics thoroughly checked by W.E.V. Also they managed to neatly fix a simple consumer unit in our existing small fusebox cupboard even though we'd been told by others a consumer unit wouldn't fit in there. Happy to thoroughly recommend W.E.V Electrical.
