  Did not replace felt and baton put Tiles on open holes pointing a mess caused damage on my flat roof left a complete mess do not employ them

  Felt Roofing Repair

  18th July

  Roof repair was done on 17th July after checking the area found the exposed area was not repaired I had him back due to non completed as requested the first time came back following day and said job now completed taking his word for it on the day he fully agreed the work been completed but after few weeks I had move some stuff from lift and found the area that we discussed with the Albert still not repaired sent message but not return call

  Job very badly completed

  Mr Hughes came to prepare and repaint 13 window frames and two doors. He started ok, the work inside (windowsills and frames) was mostly good. But preparation on the outside was poor, if at all. All existing paint was not removed and twice he had to redo windows because neither the putty nor the paint surface was even. Plus most of the windows stuck when closed. He redid some but only worked in the early afternoon so there was never time for paint to dry. He refused to return to open stuck windows and paint flaked outside only days after he left. I found out the cost was double what others charge.

  Fascia / Soffits Replacement

  Insulation work.

  Albert and his Nephew were very courteous and informative. The actual work was to remove 50 year old hanging tiles and the old wooden battens. There was pretty much no insulation installed back then. Secondly, they purchased and installed insulation and new cladding panels, then sealed. All work carried out in less than two full work days. Very satisfied.

  “3 cast iron downpipes ..  that are leaking looks like cracks and presumably replacement"

  Albert said that instead of replacing the pipes, he could restore them. His quote implied more than a week’s work, I assumed that it worth the effort. Albert sanded the pipes, added sealant and painted. He said he didn’t need to take the pipes off to restore them. By Wednesday afternoon (less than two days work) he said he was finished and asked for payment. I noticed that the soil pipe was still leaking (sewage), but said I would pay remaining cash when fixed. Albert was unhappy with this, texting “I won’t to do any more work for you". He didn't reply to further emails.

  That’s a load of rubbish the job was to sand down the pipe work and seal the joints not replace pipe I done the work wot we agreed but then he said he needs a invoice witch I gave Than he told me he would send payment over but only sent half then he wont me to put new pipe in and I told him when he pays me then I will put the pipe in

  To seal fascia’s, clear guttering, repair of roof to stop leaks

  Albert and his team very friendly and cleared away. Work done to stop leaks and repair fascia’s and clear drainpipes. Sorry but can’t say if it has worked has not rained yet!!
