  Guttering and roof repairs

  Rain water would leak through my lower bay roof at the back of my house during very stormy weather. I reached out to a number of builders to look at this and Winton was the only one that understood the main cause of the problem - water pressure from downpipe was the root cause, the guttering had to be fixed. Winton seems very knowledgeable and experienced as he noticed a few other issues with my roof and knew how to resolve them. He is honest and easy to talk too. He did a great job fixing my guttering and roof repairs and I would highly recommend him.

  Efficient polite and quick workers didn’t leave any mess and took care of a few unexpected problems without charging extra cost- turned up when they said they would and the work took as long as they said it would, and I’m very happy with the outcome

  Flat roof and gutter repairs

  Winton came to repair a flat roof leak, and repair and clean the gutters. He was prompt, efficient and easy to communicate with. He did a good job.

  Great roofer!

  I went to five separate roofers through Check a trade and got quotes for the same job ranging from £400 - £4,000. I went with Winton from WJB because of all the inspections, he was the only one to identify the bathroom fan as a possible cause. His quote also built in solutions to other possible issues. Communication was good, Winton turned up exactly when he said he would, took lots of photos so we could see what he had done and his invoice was exactly the same as his quote. Highly recommended. Would definitely use again.

  Replacing broken roof valley

  I was very pleased with the overall process. He contacted me saying when he could turn up for an inspection. Arrived promptly, put up the ladder to do a quick inspection. The quote arrived soon after. We agreed a date to start. The scaffolders turned up as arranged. The repair was done the next day. He pointed out that there should have been boards under the valley, and we agreed a fair price for the extra materials and labour. The two man team completed the building work in a day. It was mortared in the next. Three days later it was water tested. They tidied up well. Very impressed.

  Roof Repair, Guttering maintenance & moss removal

  I contacted WJB roofing local to my area in Carshalton/Sutton from reading all the positive reviews on checkatrade a year ago to get a quote for roof leak and assessment of anything else that needed attention. Winton promptly arranged a visit, assessed the roof and guttering and gave me his honest professional opinion, advising on the most cost effective solution. I was so impressed that I invited him to quote a job for my parents roof who also needed repairs. First he completed the job at my parents which they were very happy with then completed my roof repairs.
