  Bath resurfacing

  Owen came to resurface my old iron bath. He cleaned it down and spray white enamel over the bath. In total it took 45 minutes. Was told to leave it to dry for 3 days, which we did. When the bathroom fitters returned, they said the surface was rough. I called Owen on many occasions to rectify the issue. He failed to turn up twice. The problem got worse as the enamel started to flake at which I requested a refund on 31st October.. He initially agreed but after 6 weeks of chasing he has now refused to refund me.

  Resurface repair to cast iron bath

  Owen was brought in to complete a resurface of our cast iron bath whilst we were working on a bathroom installation for our customer. After job was completed the resurface spray began to peel away. We contacted Owen again and asked him to return to site to redo the job he was paid to do. Owen returned to the job 2 days later than organised which was most inconvenient to the project and again applied a resurface spray. Unfortunately the same issue has presented itself again and the spray is now peeling away again. Both myself and my customer has tried numerous times to contact him.

  Repair of 3 bathroom tiles

  The damage to each tile was large and several other companies I approached either said they could not do the work or it would not be possible to do a completely invisible repair. Owen was quick to reply to my enquiry, supply a quote and schedule the work. He was also honest in saying that the scale of the damage was such that it would not be possible to repair the tiles to be perfectly matched but he could certainly vastly improve their current look. He was absolutely right, took time and care with the job and I am delighted with the result.

  Botched job on my worktops

  Owen was very polite and courteous to begin with, but after his second visit to seal and de-stain my terrazzo worktops, it was clear that he was out of his depth. He wrongly applied lacquer, used the wrong tools, wasn't able to get the surface polished etc etc. I had to find someone else to undo what Owen had done. Even though we'd agreed to pay the full amount at the end of the job, I paid him half in cash because he seemed desperate. He is now refusing to return it and is very rude about it. Avoid at all costs!
