  Posted the ad on checkatrade on the Sunday. Got a call from Kevin a day later on the Monday. He arrived Monday afternoon and offered a quote. I did feel a little pressured as he wanted to do the work there and then. But given how long it'd have taken me to do the same job and clean up I think the price was reasonable. The work was done quickly and they cleared away the best they could given the terrible weather. Overall I was pleased with the job, I wasn't expecting to post the job on the Sunday and have it completed less than 24 hours later!

• Reducing and trimming hedges

  I can honestly say that Kevin was fantastic, he was very professional,polite and helpful. He explained everything he was going to do. He cleaned up everything and took it away to dispose of it. He did a fantastic job of leveling off and straighting all of my hedges and believe me it was not an easy job. His rates were very good for the amount of work he had to do. I am very happy with the work completed and would highly recomend him.

  Telephoned the day after initial info from check a trade and came same day 26 06 2023 and completed work in under an hour. I was charged £200 and extra £100 for applying high strength weed killer. Have noticed recently a few weeds already growing. Is this normal? I thought £100 was quite a lot for this. As came at such short notice paid by cheque eventhough he requested bank transfer. Cheque taken from my account next day. Received a leaflet but no bill or receipt.
