Jack from Woodpecker Carpentry resanded and oiled a kitchen counter for us. His work was good, however, what was disappointing, was the follow up. Counters need two perhaps three reapplications of oil (not one?). We were led to believe that this would occur in the next day or two. However, he then when on holiday for two weeks and was then unable to set up a follow up appointment. We therefore will have to reapply the oil ourselves. This should have been communicated/advised on the day of the job. Instead we now have a patchy counter after almost four weeks without a second coat of oil.

Excellent service. Work undertaken to a very high standard. Would recommend them every time. Thank you Jack for all your help.

It’s the second time I’ve now used Woodpecker Carpentry. Jack and his team do not disappoint! This time we needed to get an old built in wardrobe removed in preparation for new ones to be installed. The work was done quickly, to a professional standard and the area was left clean and tidy. Will definitely be calling again next time we need more work doing!

Jack and his team installed 9 solid wood doors and a barely knew they were there, little fuss and the end result is stunning, makes the house look brand new. I can highly recommend Woodpecker carpentry.

Jack and his team arrived on time . They cracked on with laying a lvp floor . All work was carried out to the highest of standard .
