They should have brought one of those moving blankets so as to not put divots in my floor tiles, and having been reassured that the job definitely shouldn't have taken more than an hour, seems to have made a number of fumbles such as dropping a part into the body of the washing machine that then meant that it did take more than an hour and therefore the anticipated cost significantly increased and have been charged for parking even though there was a free car park that the plumber walked past multiple times.

Hi Jennifer, yes sorry about this, we should have done better. We have run through all this with the engineer who attended and he acknowledges we can improve. Unfortunately he and already set up and paid for parking before realising there was somewhere free and the office staff always know never to give exact timescales for how long tasks take as this can lead to frustration so we have clarified that with the call handler too. Apologies again, I know the office are getting in touch to see if there's anything else we can do to resolve matters.
