My name is Tim and I’m a professional locksmith working in Dorset and the surrounding areas.
After 15 years of working in the aircraft industry as a helicopter fitter, I qualified as a locksmith and I achieved level 4 accreditation which is the highest standard within locksmith trade.
I moved to Dorchester 5 years ago and decided that it was time to take the leap and start my own business.
I am reliable, trustworthy and hard working and I pride myself on providing a high standard of work.
I have a full Disclosure and baring service check (or CRB as it used to be called) and I’m fully insured.
I’m offering a 24-hour service 7days a week call out service with no call out charge.
I have in stock a full range of top quality locks for your doors and windows ready to secure your home or vehicle.

Fixed front door lock and replaced handles
Tim was called to attend a job for my mum who is in her 80’s. The job turned out to be more tricky than anticipated however Tim persevered until he had completed it properly and completely for my mum. He was exceptionally punctual, thorough and really worked hard to get the job done. I would say he went well over and above, much more than lots would have done and only charged his original quote so highly recommend this company - thank you Tim for looking after my mum so well!
Replace door lock

Replace lick on front door

Conservatory door was jamming - needed adjustment.
Tim responded quickly and attended same day, He was able to diagnose and fix the problem immediately. He also gave me advice on another issue. I was very pleased as the door is working very smoothly now.
Repair of conservatory door locking mechanism
We phoned Tim late in the afternoon on a bitterly cold day and he came straight away to Swanage to sort out our conservatory door which we couldn't close properly or lock. He had the right size lock gearbox on his van to effect a replacement and adjusted the hinges to ensure the door opened and closed smoothly. We were very impressed by his efficient and friendly service and have no hesitation in recommending him.
