    Avoid, unpleasant experience

    Asked for a quote for a broken extractor fan. Didn't seem sure what he was doing, wanted to put a new fan in and was measuring things. Then I showed him where the existing fan was and he laughed and said he hadn't understood what I wanted. Did a lot of testing and gave me some costs for the transformer and fan. Wanted me to pay in cash for parts. It all seemed a bit odd and I couldn't keep track of the charges. He then said £50 call out which hadn't been explained. He said I didn't have to pay it. Eventually told him I only had £10 which he asked for. I gave it to him so he would leave.
