We use Tony to install all our gas cookers sold to customer's and have had no problems in 8-10 years. Also recommend him as a plumber and he seems very compentent.

Central heating engineer.
Tony Jones has for many years, as a 'Gas Safe' and heating engineer, undertaken the annual inspection at a number of properties in my care. He has also repaired and replaced boilers and tanks in order to maintain the systems in their best operating condition. I would, and have, recommended him to others.

Repair of central heating boiler.

We returned from holiday over the weekend to find our old boiler would not fire up. I called Mr Jones on Monday morning and luckily he was able to visit us on Monday afternoon. After a little detective work and a rummage through his memory banks he located the source of the trouble. Broken sparker and blocked air switch. With a few weeks of his screw driver and a blow down the pipe he got the sparker working and cleared the blockage. It was a joy to find a plumber who took pride in being able to fix something rather than guessing and replacing things until the problem disappeared. I would heartily recommend Mr Jones and will not hesitate to call him for other plumbing jobs when the need arises, as it surely will.

Repair of two taps

Open about the cause of the problem and resolved it. Honest that the taps have universal fittings which might remain problematic, so will check them again on his return in a couple of weeks to repair my shower as he didn't have time, offered to halve the call out next time as he was unable to stay and fix the shower today. Very polite and I appreciated the call in the morning to say that he was on his way.

Fixing 2 leaky stop taps.

Tony came round on a Saturday morning to fix 2 leaks and then again when we had a slight drip. Very polite and willing and only charged a small price for 2 visits. Although ours was a simple job there's no doubt he is a very competent and experienced plumber. Most plumbers now work for a corporate body and charge accordingly. This guy is a local gem!

Blocked sink waste.

I called mr Jones out as I had a blocked sink drain which another plumber could not fix. Mr Jones dismantled the pipework and cleaned out the foul smelling blockage he left the job clean and tidy.

Moved gas cooker which involved extending gas pipe under floor boards and then through internal wall.

The work is meticulous. From removing floor boards to extend the gas pipe underneath, to the location of new pipe, and replacing floor boards and re-connecting gas cooker. I would happily use Tony again.
