Having served over 25 years as an engineer in the Royal Navy, Able 1 Gas was founded in 2006.

I cover all types of plumbing and heating installation including full central heating upgrades to boiler servicing and fault finding. I cover all types of gas appliances - fires, cookers & warm air units in natural gas and LPG.  I also undertake landlord's gas safety certification and gas safety inspections for estate agents prior to selling properties.

Ray has carried out two major installations - 1st was replacing entire central heating including boiler and installed new bathroom at a fair and honest price and a very good standard of workmanship.

Fixing gas boiler

Turned up on time, completed the work and explained to me in detail what he had done so that if a similar problem occured I could sort it out without calling anyone out. Explained why the problem had occured so that I could watch out for it in the future. Very friendly, very reasonable price. Would recommend.

Clean and flush heating system after 12yrs of use

Ray undertook a job that proved to be more time consuming than originally thought, but price remained the same as his quote. 1st class job, by a1st class tradesman.

Install complete new central heating system and boiler.

Was very old system but they finished in under a week. Being an OAP they made sure that I had heating and water straight away, very friendly. I would recommend this company.
