Welcome to Aspen Flooring Ltd Checkatrade page. We are truly a family run business with My brother Scott and myself Joint Directors with our Wives, Sister, Brother and Parents all doing there bit to help. Together we have over 20 years fitting experience and a wealth of product knowledge at our disposal.

We fit both the Domestic and Commercial environments - The products we supply and fit are Carpet, Carpet Tiles, Amtico, Karndean, Polyflor, Altro, Marley, Sheet Vinyl, Laminates, Solid Wood and Engineered Wood Flooring. We also Supply and Fit Made to Measure Blinds be it Roller, Venetian, Pleated, Roman, Verticals and the new intu blinds.

We offer a free estimating and sample service, a choose at home service or you can visit our showroom in Pyrford.

The whole of my ground floor

This is the third time I have used aspen flooring ,in two houses and as usual a completely professional finish with little fuss and mess shane and craig arrived on time and worked hard and it is really helpfull to know that I can give them a key and let them get on with the job as they have proved to be completely trustworthy..I can highly reccomend aspen floors for any flooring requirements the house was left tidy every day ,

2 Karndean floors in Playroom and Kitchen

Aspen Flooring came recommended from a previous happy customer. They provided a competitive quotation and gave us excellent customer service. Scott and the team laid 2 Karndean floors for us which look stunning. We have been delighted with their expertise, product knowledge, politeness and professionalism. Their attention to detail is excellent. They were also incredibly helpful when our builder let us down with the floor preparation and Aspen came to the rescue and everything was resolved within 24 hours. We'll be back soon for carpets!!

Ground floor wood flooring

Aspen Flooring was recommended from a colleauge, who was a happy customer. They gave me a competitive quote for the walnut wood and were able to fit into my pre-moving in house schedule. They even discovered that the floor was uneven before they even started. Shayne was extremely polite, ontime and laid my perfect floor quickly. All in all a very trouble free experience, just as I wanted.

New Wood Flooring in hallway and dining room

Couldn't fault them. They were very tidy, all wood was cut outside. And they took the dining room door off and trimmed the bottom of it for free, so that it would fit over the new floor. The new floor looks great, and we are very pleased with the result.

Floor in hallway and nursery

Our new house has clearly had a lot of DIY jobs done and so was not easy to work with. At first they just laid the floor and fitted the skirting. Although their work was good it didn't combat the issues with the house such as previously incorrectly cut wooden floors and door frames, meaning there were gaps under doors and the fit of the skirting wasn't tight. We did need to get them back to discuss this as this clearly needed resolving. They did come back and resolved the issues, so we now have a decent finish and no gaps under doors. Obviously there was a bit of extra cost involved. I was a little disappointed that they didn't warn us about potential issues with floor levels being lower given we'd chosen Karndean, but they worked very hard to put everything right. Thank you guys, I'm sure once our woodwork is finally painted it will look really great!

Response from Aspen Flooring Ltd:
1) As the customer points out the gaps under the doors and door frames were caused by bad DIY by the previous owner. We were not instructed by the customer to quote for rectifying this in our original estimate. We were asked to estimate to supply and fit Karndean Flooring which we did as per the manufacturers fitting instructions on 6mm WBP ply. This still left a gap under the frames and doors. 2) With reference to the comments regarding the skirting not being tight. We fitted the skirting flat to the walls, it was the customers walls that were not in fact true, this was caused by the poor plastering that was done by previous trades! so at the bottom of the customers walls the new plaster ramped out towards the room. We used a matching decorators caulk along the tops as is standard practice to finish. All this was explained to the customer 3) We also found a damp issue in the customers house stopped working in that area informed Mrs Lewis so she could get the issue resolved and arranged to come back another time to re-fit at no extra charge. The customer asked us once we had started work if we could rectify the gaps under the door frames/ doors and replace the architrave we did so and as per their comments they are happy with the result. So to say that they had to get us back to discuss this and resolve and they seem unhappy about the extra cost is very harsh. We were coming back to finish the Karndean and caulk the Skirting. How they worded it makes its seem that we had just left it like that and had no intention of coming back until they called us. I cannot accept that we can be held responsible for the work of a previous trades/Householders. And feel we went above and beyond our original instructions from the customer which was to supply and fit Karndean Flooring and to fit new Skirting Boards.

Removal of skirting, replacement with new, removal of carpet, screeding and Karndean floor laid in kitchen/diner/living area

Aspen flooring are some of the most genuine, trustworthy and skilled professionals I've used. I couldn't praise them highly enough. We ended up being up against the clock with visitors coming from overseas and they went above and beyond to make sure everything happened within our very short time frame. Always happy, always considerate, absolutely brilliant in every which way!

Carpeting stairs, landings and 2 bedrooms

This is the first time I have used Aspen Flooring. I was recommended them by a good friend. I asked them to complete the work while on a vacation.
