Paul Barnard has been in the flooring industry for over 20 years in Brighton, and has worked all aspects from working on the shop floor, superstore management and many years of floor laying. Based in Brighton East Sussex.

At Barnard Flooring Brighton we offer a personal one to one service from start to finish, giving you a stress free carpet and flooring buying experience. We offer all types of Flooring services including, carpets, wood flooring, laminate flooring and flooring supply to the Brighton and surrounding Sussex areas.

We offer a free no obligation estimate service, and have over 2000 carpet, vinyl, laminate and solid wood samples available to choose from in the comfort of your own home, appointments can be made to suit a time (including evenings) and date to suit your personal flooring requirements.

We undertake all aspects of floor preparation including uplifting and disposal of existing floors, moving furniture and can also stain guard your new carpets.

Our prices are highly competitive against both large and small retail outlets, with no hidden surcharges. All our work is fully guaranteed and insured.

Supply and fit wooden floor to lounge/hall

Paul fitted the floor to an extremely high standard with a beautiful finish. He kept me informed at all times, was very polite and friendly. The attention to detail was as though Paul were fitting it for his own home.

New hall carpet and underlay following flooding

After flood damage, Paul came in and assessed the work without us on site. He recommended a cost effective solution so as not to have wastage and laid a new carpet and underlay. We did not inspect the work or choose the carpet until the weekend after he finished - but the workmanship was excellent, the choice of carpet superb and it felt better than before. Thank you

Carpeted a two bedroom cottage

Turned up on time when we first looked at samples snd kept to all timings and costs during the project. Helped us out and moved schedule to help us when we fell behind on our building work. A very good job and would 100% use again

This is our second job with Paul. Previously he levelled our kitchen floor and fitted vinyl which we have been very happy with. He has continued to do an excellent job on this second project. Paul is a fantastic workman and has given us beautiful floors in our lounge/diner, hallway, bedrooms and study. He came around and showed us all of the samples and then commenced with the work, he turned up when he said he would and completed the job within the estimated timescales, he was tidy and I have to say the finish is better than I could have hoped for! Highly recommended!
