I took my plumbing apprenticeship when I left school (longer ago than I care to think about!) I make sure I stay up to date with new guidelines, products and plumbing methods, regularly taking new courses.
I have always done my utmost to provide my customers with the best possible service and quality of work, imagining each job as if it were being done for me.I am clear on the standard of service I expect and how I want people to behave when they are in my house. Consequently I have been able to work entirely through client recommendations throughout my plumbing career.
I am happy to follow instructions when a client has already decided exactly what they want, but in many cases I am able to offer design advice through my wealth of experience. I will always make a client aware of all the possible options available to them.
I ensure that I stay below the VAT threshold so my fees come without the extra 20% at the end. I have a good relationship with a plumbers merchant and pass on any discounts I negotiate with them directly to my clients.
My work ranges from fixing a dripping tap all the way through to a complete refurbishment. I am Gas Safety registered so I can fix a small gas leak or install an entirely new central heating system from scratch.
