  EHIC check and other electrical work completed

  This was Chris's second visit to us. We had been impressed with his work and honesty about the work needing to be completed. He undertook the work within a couple of days of the request. Very efficient, helpful, reasonable price and professional attitude. Would highly recommend.

  Fixes to EICR report at rented property. Supplied passed EICR report upon completion.

  Chris was prompt in all communications. Work done during lockdown but still provided excellent service. Very knowledgable and great price for the job.

  Rude, angry, unprofessional man

  Wouldn't answer emails or telephone, I had to chase him and when he eventually did get in touch he arranged to turn up after 12pm. He arrived before the prearranged time and because he was early and no one was able to let him in, he had a hissy fit and accused the tenant of lying, and has refused to do the work.

  I have never met this person or carried out any work for them. I arranged to do an electrical inspection and turned up 15 minutes early. I informed them I was there but received no reply. I then waited for 30 minutes and there was still no answer. I received an email several hours later saying someone was in. When I told them I had arrived early they then changed there information to say someone didn’t turn up until 12. I then told them I was there until 12:15 and no one turned up. After this they then proceeded to become abusive and I quickly realised this person obviously had issues so I didn't engage any further with them. They continued to email me saying if I replied they would consider it threatening and harassment. I didn't reply so they again emailed me and said they would send a bad review in. In 9 years with Checkatrade I have never had a bad review. This is no way to treat people. I have always prided myself on being punctual and polite. I would say to all tradespeople to avoid this person.

  Fitted new pull cord switch in bathroon

  Have used Chris before on 2 occasions and he is my go to man for all jobs electrical! Efficient, friendly and punctual. The pull cord switch in the bathroom had broken so phoned Chris and he arrived next day as arranged , replaced the switch and tidied up . He charged a very reasonable price so am very happy! I always recommend him to my friends. The job took 30 minutes in total

  KITCHEN LIGHTING REPLACED

  Great work, very fast and efficient. Did the work within a couple of days of the quote once parts were received. Very reasonable and professional, highly recommend.

  Fitted new electric hob

  Chris fitted a new electric hob. Done another great job. Have used Chris before and would do again. Definitely recommend him.
