Repointed ridge tiles, Clean gutters.

Charlie from DLR Roofing did a great job with our ridge tiles and pointing, I also had repaired the leaking roof too. Turned up when he said he would, and was very polite, honest and friendly. I would happily recommend DLR roofing and will definitely use Charlie again.

2 valleys re-lined with lead.

Very competent, straight forward, honest and helpful. Easy to talk to. Carried out small patching and pointing job to failing flat roof at no extra cost. Used all the correct materials for the valleys. Will definitely use again.

Flat roof was leaking and needed repairing

We needed a flat section of roof to be looked at, as our ceiling was becoming damp and discoloured due to a leak. Charlie was able to come out to us the same day and on time. He took the time to explain to us very carefully what needed to be done. As neither my partner or I have a head for heights, he took pictures of the roof before he began work, so that we could see for ourselves what was causing the leak. Charlie was able to start the work there and then and did a brilliant job of making the roof good. I felt that his price was very reasonable and he kept to his estimate. He was also very tidy and took all the rubbish away with him. He was very polite at all times and I would have no hesitation in using his services again. Recommended!

Very happy to have chosen DLR Roofing, high quality work done on kitchen roof

Years ago I asked a few roofers to come and repair a few slates on my kitchen roof: one applied silicon sealant and the other gave elaborate reasons why with the interlocking slates it was impossible to repair a section and that all the slates needed to be replaced.  Back then I covered the damaged slated with sealants and forgot about the tiny leakage, until a few months ago when the leaking was so big I couldn’t ignore it. I came across DLR Roofing and had a chat with Charlie who on the same day came for a check and suggested the type of work needed.  Later he told me about the expected price and time frame for the job. Him and another roofer came on the appointed day and completed the work in two hours charging exactly the amount he had quoted before.  I have waited weeks to see if the quality of the repair, lead work and all, is good, that all leakage has stopped and am happy to have asked Charlie to undertake the work even though I didn’t see any other roofer before deciding and Charlie’s straightforward and reassuring friendly attitude was probably what made me chose him to undertake the work. The slates used on my roof are uncommon and luckily he could track them down.
