Here at DB Groundworks we take enormous pride in meeting the customers needs.

With over 8 years experience in block paving, patios and pathways. We set our standards to the highest quality with use of the best materials possible in driveways patios and gardens. Using Marshalls, Brett, Fairstone and Bradstone, there is no fixed product the customer HAS to use.

All Driveways come with the option of sealing for a maintenance free, grime free finish.

All Driveways and Patios will need cuts to borders, and we only use diamond blades for a perfect finish.

Recessed manholes with cuts are always finished with the continuation pattern throughout.

All borders are haunched or kerb finish all depending on what the customer prefers.

We also offer restoration of drives, pressure wash re-sand and sealing, concrete bases and shed building, sleeper walls, patio re-point and seal, turfing, fencing, foundations, all work up to dpc on extensions.

With all the above we always have the "customer in mind."

Patio and garden landscaping.

Danny and Matt have done an excellent job on our garden. Throughout the work Danny has made sure every aspect is explained and carried out exactly to requirements. Nothing has been too much trouble throughout the job. They are now working on the massive task of block paving our drive! I cannot recommend Danny and his team highly enough.

Cleaning of patio, outside of pots and some of the drive.

They came on time and worked solidly and methodically. Very pleased with the result. Should have booked them for the whole drive. Some small stones were left on the lawn (blown there be the force of the water jet).

Replace paving slabs on front path.

Polite, reliable, and punctual. Danny also had to stay longer than previously thought to finish the job, this was no trouble for him. Very pleased with the outcome.

Remove old patio and fish pond and replace with Indian sandstone.

Dan spent an hour assessing the work, gave a detailed quote, and stuck to it. He and Matt worked through some vile weather to complete the job to time. All was kept as clean and tidy as possible throughout and the inevitable mess they had to make was made good before they departed. Two weeks of hard work completed to time at a very reasonable price. Extremely pleased with the end product and would recommend the team to anyone.

Sandstone patio, path and retaining brick wall.

We obtained a number of quotes for removing and old patio and replacing it with natural sandstone. Dan’s flexibility, pleasant approach, willingness to let us see examples of his work and reasonable quote helped us to decide on going with DB Groundworks. We were not to be disappointed! Dan was very accommodating when we had to change the dates for the work to be done and when we had other ideas on how we might like to add to the project. This entailed constructing a path and a curved brick wall as well. He would have sourced all the materials himself but was happy to let us obtain the sandstone paving and provide the bricks ourselves. Both he and his assistant Matt were very friendly and patient throughout and were prepared to make minor adjustments to the plan as the work went on. The garden has been transformed and I would have no hesitation in recommending Dan to others and we may well have further work done in the future.

Change level and extend patio.

Despite atrocious weather Dan and Matt mate excellent progress on our patio. It involved removing approx. 5mtrs of slope and laying patio into it with a retaining wall. We're very pleased with the results and are very happy to recommend DB Groundworks for the quality of work, their professional attitude and eagerness to complete the work to our satisfaction.
