I am a fully qualified, experienced electrician, having completed a 4 year apprenticeship back in 1982. I have worked in the electrical industry, before establishing  DJM Electrical in 1998.

My qualifications include City & Guilds Electrical Installations Parts 1&2, City & Guilds Test & Inspection 2391 and City & Guilds 17th edition.

I have been a NICEIC domestic Installer since Jan 2005 and therefore can issue certificates compliant with Part P of the Building regulations.

I specialise in domestic electrical installations, including consumer unit changes, re-wires, extra sockets & lighting, garage & garden installations, showers, smoke alarm systems, security lighting, hot tubs, storage heaters and more.

Re-wire house.
Very reliable. Good communication. Trusted him with the keys to my house for 2 weeks. Excellent workmanship. Have used him before for smaller jobs and for my rewire of three bedroom house I didn't get any other quotes, just asked him. I would be happy to recommend them.

Supply and Fit Electric Storage Heater (Economy Seven)

I left a detailed message for Mr Meades on his answer phone relating to my enquiry. When he called me back he had already researched heater options and pricing for me. He seemed very knowledgeable about storage heating, came round very quickly to consider installation options and was very reasonable with his price. He seemed very competent, polite and thorough. An amiable chap and a tidy and efficient worker that I will definately call upon again if I need an electrician.

Full re-wiring plus additional sockets and relocation of ceiling lights

David was extremely polite at all times and worked around myself and my family, letting us know in advance what rooms he needed to be in. I found this extremely helpful and courteous. In addition, the quality of David's work was excellent and he tidied up after himself at the end of each day meaning that he caused as little disruption as possible. We would definitely recommend David and he is now our first choice for all electrical work in future.
