Garden path reset, trees trimmed

This is the second time we used Down to Earth Garden Services - this time for reseting a path leading from the house into the garden, and for trimming trees. The guys arrived on time, the work was completed as agreed, and everything looks great. Ian offered good advice on which trees needed trimming and by how much. Great service, would recommend, and will use again when needed.

Replacement of fencing and repositioning of gate

Replaced an old and tired looking featherboard fence, also repositioned gate to a more suitable position. Very happy with the work, nice tidy job, punctual and polite, would have no hesitation recommending to others.

Replacing a Fence

The quality of work done looks excellent and was less than the quotation. They were on time, very clean and an absolute pleasure to deal with. I would not hesitate to use them again and would recommend them to anyone.

Replacement of Wooden Fence with Concrete Structure with Wooden Panels

As one of the victims of the January gale-force winds, I turned to Checkatrade to find a recommended trades person to rebuild my front garden fence. Ian's customer commendations stood out, so I contacted him. Even though I had to wait for a couple of weeks because his preferred panels (with equal number of battens on both sides) were out of stock, the finished product was worth the wait. Now my concrete slotted posts, concrete gravel boards and wooden panels are not only superbly aesthetic, but are ready and waiting for any future gales that may come their way. Thank you Ian and Mark; my wife is equally impressed by your excellent work and I guess that my patient neighbours are quietly relieved. And thanks to all Ian's previous Checkatrade customers, who took the time to supply the customer feedback that guided my selection.

Close board panel fence with concrete posts.

If you're looking for a team who are dedicated and enthusiastic, then look no further. Ian and co put up a twelve panel fence in less than two days, including digging out the old posts which had been set in concrete. Some of these were far more difficult than had been foreseen, but I didn't hear a single moan, nor did it affect the price. The job was completed in temperatures close to zero but they just kept ploughing on with it and were still smiling at the end. Great team of friendly and approachable guys, the fence looks fantastic and a ten ton truck would probably come off worse if it wanted to take the fence on. Can't recommend them highly enough.
