At Elektric, as qualified electricians and electrical contractors based in Tunbridge Wells and serving the surrounding areas including West Kent, East Sussex and South London, we undertake all forms of domestic electrical installation, including fault finding, electrical inspection and testing and provide an emergency call out service to customers in the Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge, Sevenoaks, Crowborough and Hawkhurst area.

Keeping our installers up to date with the latest Electrical Installation Regulations (17 thEdition BS7671), Health and Safety requirements and building regulations codes of practice is vital to us providing the level of service you will come to expect of us. Replacement of flue installations throughout house.

Isolated problem relating to mains fuse failure.

My eighteen year old son returned home separately on a Sunday night, whilst the rest of the family were still away on holiday, to find that all the power had failed in the downstairs of the house. Trying to isolate the problem proved impossible until my son went onto Checkatrade and contacted Clive. Over the phone he was able to help resolve the problem in about ten minutes, that we by numerous expensive phone calls abroad over a couple of hours, had been unable to achieve. Clive would not take any payment, but seemed happy to help my son sort out the problem. I cannot thank him enough or recommend his service highly enough. We will definitely be using him the next time we need an electrician. A huge thank you to you. 11 out of 10!

Installed power supply to garage (35 yards from house) and renewed all old fittings and fitted new fluorescent lights and power sockets.

The work undertaken by Clive was far more than a days work, but he systematically worked through laying the cable in the ground, drilling through the garage wall and connecting a circuit box to run off lights and power and another circuit to power the roller door. He ran out of natural light and finished the work well after dark. The work was very professional and I will use his services again.

Change dimmer switch which was not working to an ordinary switch.

Clive was very professional from the moment I rang up. It was a relatively small job but it was important that it was dealt with as soon as possible. He came within 2 hours to suit me and was very polite and extremely helpful. I was so pleased with such an excellent job and reasonable pricing that I have asked Clive to come and do some more work for me. I would highly recommend him.

Putting in new wiring for an electric shower but also updating existing arrangements to current safety standards.

We were hugely impressed by how quickly Clive responded to our request for a site visit and quote. He was extremely polite, helpful and friendly when he came to do the work and everything was carried out to a very high standard. He also dealt well with unexpected hurdles (I'd gone out and he had to work out how to get access to a particularly tricky bit of loft space, which he did without having to contact me) and our two lovable but daft Labrador. A very easy guy to have around as well as being a good electrician. Will recommend him widely!

From the first point of contact to the testing and certification, Clives approach and attitude was friendly and exceptionally professional. The workmanship was of the highest standards, very neat clean and tidy. We are delighted with the work and will always be keen to recommend his services.
