Cutting back casing above worktop in kitchen to fit around new boiler, and re-fitting phone wire box to living room wall

I invited Des around first to assess the work that I needed doing; I wasn't quite sure of the options for the casing, as it involved cutting through thick tiles. Des was fairly optimistic, though, and after measuring up he took the casing away to do the messy work offsite. He returned a few days later as agreed to re-fit, adding sealant along the length of the worktop to leave the area neat, clean and tidy.

Hung a heavy picture on a weak wall

This is the second time Des has hung our large, unwieldy, heavy picture for us, after he did such a professional and neat job in our last flat. This time the wall is quite thin and weak so we were concerned the picture might be too heavy. He assessed the job and advised us on how he would approach it to best spread the weight, got the materials and hung all for a very reasonable price and with no fuss or bother. We will definitely continue to go to him for handyman help whenever we need it.
