Boiler servicing, boiler repair and pipework laid

Sam from Essential Heating was on time, polite, highly professional and is the first engineer we have had who actually managed to fix our boiler. He also worked quickly, efficiently and despite the mess created as a result of the work, cleaned up really well after himself as well. I can't recommend him enough and is a superb engineer.

Boiler Service and Maintinance

Sam came out on a Saturday after a call only a couple of days before as a error code came up with my boiler. I had called various other companies who couldn't attend for over a week. His enthusiasm, can do attitude and dedication to service is something I rarely find in any industry... top work! Would highly recommend!

Unvented cylinder and sealed central heating installed

Sam disconnected the gravity-fed system for the hot water and central heating and installed an unvented hot water cylinder and and a sealed central heating system. The job was tricky because of a chimney breast in the airing cupboard, but Sam installed everything and was still able to maintain the hanging space for drying clothes. He provided good advice and was very professional in his approach and attitude to the job. We would definitely recommend him to family and friends.

Wiring fault on central heating

Had a minor problem with the central heating system, previous engineers had said there was nothing wrong, explained the problem to Sam and he found the problem within minutes. He was meticulous and very efficient. I was very pleased with his work. Would recommend him to anybody.

Repair to Combi Boiler: No Hot Water

Referred to Sam Heathcote / Essential Heating by another plumber - had never used him before. Boiler problem had left us without hot water on a Friday before a weekend when we were expecting visitors. Other plumbers could not give availability until the following week. Came on the same day as the problem reported. Provided efficient diagnosis of problem and service. Fitted new parts. Good price. Very polite and a pleasure to do business with. Will definitely use again.

I was very pleased with the way Sam from Essential Heating fixed my boiler (where others had failed) He was punctual, extremely polite and very thorough in assessing the problem, and said if I was worried again he would return. I will recommend him to all my friends

Mended gas pipe, serviced boiler, fixed wobbly tap

Sam was polite, friendly and very keen. He was the only person (after many calls to different engineers) willing/able to come around on a Sunday evening for an emergency repair and saved us from a night without heating. His prices were very reasonable (£100 for an emergency callout gas pipe repair; £45 for boiler service). We will definitely use him again.
