GW Electrical is an independent company owned and run by two good friends who have more than 30 years experience between them. We have very different backgrounds and experience giving us the ability to cover a huge range of work from a light to a complete installation, in a variety of places from a shed to a GMP area in the pharmaceutical industry.

We pride ourselves on our high standard of work and always try to be as competitive as possible, but sometimes beating a quote would mean cutting corners and this is unfortunately something we wont do. All our work complies with current regulations and we are vetted annually by the NICEIC who randomly inspect our work to ensure your happy and its safe.

We can also do inspection and testing if your worried about the condition of your wiring and fuse board, or you need a report for selling or renting a property

Electrical fault that resulted in a new hob supplied and fitted.

I contacted Dave at around 08.30 this morning and by 14.00 the same day I had a new hob supplied and fitted for an excellent price. Unreal service and a very nice firm to deal with. Highly recommended.

Faulty light sockets were replaced.

New telephone extension fitted.

He was in the area when I called and popped over quoted me. Called back the next day completed the work and charged the quoted price. Excellent, can't really think how he could've been better.

Emergency callout for electrical circuit fault.

During Christmas holidays and a Saturday, I needed an electrician to restore electrics to a house I let with new tenants who had a one day old baby, so very urgent. Dave came and said there would be no call-out charge. Five minutes before he arrived I went to the house and found the RCD had tripped (despite tenant saying otherwise) so was rather embarrassed that Dave had made a wasted journey. He didn't charge me and was very pleasant and relaxed about the whole thing. I shall always use him now as my electrician. What a nice guy.

Ceiling light fitting taken down and replaced.

Dave arrived on time, did the job and cleaned up. Charged me the same as the quote over the phone and was very pleasent. Can't ask for more.

Sparks coming out of fuse box.

Called out at 7pm was here is 20 minutes. The job fixed and sorted, saved me from the chance of having a fire. He knew exactly what he was doing and the price was more than fair. Ended up as one of the best sparkies I have ever had dealing with and I will be using again.

Install electric cooker.

Dave turned up on time and carried out the work very efficiently and was fastidious about tidying up afterwards. Extremely reasonably priced job as well. Will definitely use again and will be recommending to family and friends.
