  Remove soil & Prep for laying broken slate

  Work agreed was to remove soil from forecourt, lay membrane, lay Type 1, use wacker plate to compact and lay broken slate. Place a concrete edging stone between small area of concrete and broken slate. Didn’t use a wacker plate, instead a hand held punner, didn’t place a concrete edging stone until I told him, so he had to come back next day. Didn’t have any plasticiser for cement work so asked me for fairy liquid. Made no attempt to clean up pathway or front door (some mess unavoidable naturally). What could have been done in one & a half days was spread over three. End result mediocre.

  Excellent Job

  I originally received a flyer through the door and contacted Martin for a quote, which I accepted. During the work, an unforeseen complication arose regarding the amount of rubble that needed removing. At the time of the original quote, much of it was hidden under a bench and wasn't visible. Martin discussed this with me, and we renegotiated the price, which I felt was very fair given the additional work involved. I was very happy with the work carried out.   A pleasure to work with

  We wanted a wooden raised bed built along the side of our garage and Martin was quick to respond and offer helpful advice on how best to do it. The quote was reasonable and a week later he and his 'A' team completed the work in a day. The lads were lovely and worked quickly with good attention to detail. A change in plan to raise the bed higher than originally planned was no problem for them. It is refreshing to find that there are still companies out there that you can rely on.   Replacement fencing

  I had several fence panels that needed replacing - Martin came over to quote, he was very polite and clearly explained how he would approach the job, which instilled confidence. His quote turned out to be very competitive and he was able to fit us in relatively soon after. His two colleagues who undertook the work turned up promptly, were very polite and respectful, and completed the work to a good quality and they ensured that the old fencing was safely disposed of. Would definitely recommend.

  Decking and Slab Laying

  Martin and his team were excellent. Martin kept in communication and he and the team arrived at my house when they said they would. The work they carried out was exactly what I had asked for and the price was really reasonable. The team carried the work out efficiently and so did not have to be at my house for many days so there was very little disruption which was important because of my work schedule. Martin is really professional and knows what he is talking about, he was able to advice me on what I needed and explained everything clearly. I would recommend Martin's services to anyone.
