Based in Bolney, West Sussex, I specialise purely in painting & decorating and during the last 20 yrs I've not only taken great pride in working for myself but I've also built a reputation for a high class finish. I'm happy to work on old or new properties, from a 2up2down to a 24 roomed mansion.
When I was a lad my Grandfather was a decorator so I learnt my trade young but haven't forgotten how important it is when inviting a tradesman into your home that you feel completely comfortable & experience as little disruption as possible. I believe one of the reasons many of my clients invite me back is because I maintain a very high level of professionalism & conduct myself with the highest level of courtesy to ensure a smooth working relationship. I will always leave a room clean & tidy & ensure that any materials & equipment left onsite during works are tidied away according to my clients requirements.

Ceiling cracks repaired and decoration of our lounge
We were away when the job was done. Greg contacted us to make sure that the change of paint colour was correct. He had unexpected problems when filling the cracks and went to extra trouble to make sure that the job was done correctly. The job overran because of this, but the original estimate amount was all that was askrd for. I am very happy to recommend him to you.

Master bedroom painting and Wallpainting
This was the final room Greg completed still with a smile! - after putting up with our two year old helping him, working over Easter and his birthday, this room proved a problem again! Apart from filling in all the cracks and holes, and painting the varnished wood work. We had chosen a wallpaper that seemed difficult to match. After returning to the paint shop at least 5 times, painting 10 swatches and ordering one of the last pots of a certain paint in the country a match was made!! They tidied and hoovered up cheerfully - would happily recommended them and will ask him to return when needed.

Hallway and Landing
The very dark wooded hallway and landing has completely been transformed- the woodwork was filled and undercoated (this part of the job took over two days to complete because it was in such a state and Greg wanted to be happy with the finish). This also meant They worked over Easter to ensure the job was completed to a high standard and on time. The whole area is so much brighter and looks like a different home now. Everyone is so surprised at the dramatic change.

Decoration of spare rooms - painting and wall papering
We asked Greg to update the spare rooms removing the dark wood varnished windows and skirting with sanded and filled smooth eggshell covered woodwork. Filling in holes, covering rather interesting previous wall paint and helping demolish the old table! (requested to do so). The rooms are lovely and are professionally finished.

Decoration of sitting room
Greg and Paul decorated our sitting room changing the blue wragged walls and dark varnished wood work into a tranquil and beautifully finished room. The 'making good' of the room took longer than expected but the extra work really paid off and we love the room. Everyone comments on the change.

Decoration of tv room
Completely transformed the small non-descipt tv room into a lovely room. Greg suggested we paint the ceiling the same colour as the walls, this makes the room look larger. We also changed the dark varnished wood to eggshell - hard work for them in preparing the wood but due to the quality of the work it really completes the room. Could not have asked for more polite or professional painters. Thoroughly trustworthy too.

Paint hall, stairs and landing walls and woodwork/ Outside fascias and porch.
Greg and Paul were painting here for seven working days. The hall, stairs and landing had the usual traffic passing through but we all managed and they cleared their dust sheets every day before leaving.I am thrilled with the end result, the hallway looks brand new. Greg and Paul were here in the autumn of 2011, four days painting outside, fascias, soffits and porch. A good experience all round and will return to them in the future . Preparing and oiling a large handmade oak bookcase
Greg was absolutely super. Hard working, punctual, efficient, enthusiastic and great fun. He took great time to fill the gaps as required and ensured that the filler was a perfect match to the oak and to oil the bookcase. I fully plan to employ Greg for further work and I absolutely recommend his work.

Painted soffit and fascia
I had some fascia and soffit repairs done. I then
contacted Greg to see if he could paint the woodwork before the scaffolding was
due to be taken down. He came in and worked over the entire weekend to get the
job done. The finished work looked superb.
