    Sean laid new flooring in 3 bedrooms and also replaced some damaged existing planks for us. Sean was friendly, efficient and we are thrilled with the results. Would definitely recommend.

    Bedroom Engineered Wood Install

    Sean was phenomenal. He communicated everything really clearly and we had so many issues with other trades/suppliers letting us down which he managed to anticipate and work around. His workmanship is astounding. He is so particular about everything. There isn't a squeak to be heard on a once noisy landing. There were no hidden costs, no surprise extras and he went above and beyond to leave a safe environment at the end of each day. It looks incredible. The allergy sniffles have halved and the upstairs is so much warmer with the new floors too. We are delighted.

    Wooden floor installed in bedroom

    We have used Harpers for a previous installation and so we did not hesitate to get in touch again when we needed another engineered wood floor laid. The job was urgent and Sean found the time to fit us in. Always tidy and very professional, Sean did a great job and we would definitely recommend

    New Flooring in Lounge, Dining Room & Office

    Sean is to be recommended for all aspects of his work, he gave us a fair estimate for the work and that was what we paid when the work was completed. We had Carpet and underlay that had to be removed before starting the work and this He did and took it all away at the end of each day. He was punctual and conscientious, keeping us informed at all stages, and you could see by the quality of his work that he took pride in what he was doing. He laid flooring to match the one we already had laid in the hall and kitchen and it looks amazing, along with new skirting. Highly Recommended

Harpers Wood Floor Specialist is an independent wood flooring installation company, established in 1995. With over 28 years experience, initially installing floors for IKEA Croydon and their customers and later extending into supplying & installing quality wood and laminate floors direct to the customer. We are also a recommended installation company for Flooring Supplies - The biggest supplier of wood and laminate floors.

The services we offer to our customers

Sub-floor preparation to include moisture content of the substrate & relative humidity of the area to be installed. If you floor requires levelling we can do that too with ply & or latex. We can also take up & dispose of your existing floor coverings.

We install solid, engineered, laminate & LVT wood flooring with the specialist knowledge each requires.

Installation of skirting, door thresholds, scotia, trimming doors to fit, cutting out door architraves and fitting radiator pipe covers is all in the finishing touches that make your floor extra special!

Every job is different, and we can offer the best solutions for your property.

Our pricing is extremely competitive and the service we offer you is professional, friendly and reliable, advising you of the best products to suit your personal requirements. This allows you piece of mind knowing we will provide you with accurate measurements of the floor and a more in-depth survey of the sub floor including relative humidity of the area to be installed and the moisture content of your sub floor.
